SpatialRectFilter Task

The SpatialRectFilter task is used to add and edit arguments for the SpatialRectFilter command used in a logic template. Performing a SpatialRectFilter task consists of the following steps:

Step 1

The first step is to initiate the task by either selecting the Spatial->Rectangle task in the FILTERING task bar along the left side of the Logic Template editor or by double-clicking on the SpatialRectFilter command name in the logic template if a SpatialRectFilter already exists. If the Spatial->Rectangle task is not enabled, be sure there is at least one numeric data field defined in the related load definition file for this logic template.

The SpatialRectFilter dialog box will appear:

Step 2

The second step is to select the Boundary for the command:

Use the Boundary drop-down list to specify whether the perimeter of the rectangle is included.

Step 3

The third step is to select the Horz. Field for the command:

The Horz. Field drop-down list will contain only numeric data fields defined in the related load definition file.

Use the Horz. Field drop-down list to select the name of the data field containing the X coordinate to be tested.

Step 4

The fourth step is to select the Vert. Field for the command:

The Vert. Field drop-down list will contain only numeric data fields defined in the related load definition file.

Use the Vert. Field drop-down list to select the name of the data field containing the Y coordinate to be tested.

Step 5

The fifth step is to specify the Rectangle for the command:

Use the Rectangle edit box to specify the name of the HTML variable containing the rectangle definition.

Step 6

The sixth step is to specify the Flag for the command:

Use the Flag to indicate how records with a value of zero are handled.

Step 7

The seventh step is to click the OK button to insert the command into the logic template:

The command is inserted into the logic template where the cursor is located. If the task was initiated by double-clicking on the command name, then the arguments that are changed will be overwritten.
