AttributeFilter Task

The AttributeFilter task is used to add and edit arguments for the AttributeFilter command used in a logic template. Performing an AttributeFilter task consists of the following steps:

Step 1

The first step is to initiate the task by either selecting the Attributes->Attribute Filter task in the FILTERING task bar along the left side of the Logic Template editor or by double-clicking on the AttributeFilter command name in the logic template if an AttributeFilter already exists. If the Attributes->Attribute Filter task is not enabled, be sure there is at least one attribute data field defined in the related load definition file for this logic template.

Step 2

The second step is to specify the Type for the command:

Use the Type drop-down list to select the type of attribute filter to be requested.

Step 3

The third step is to select the Data Field for the command:

The Data Field drop-down list will contain only attribute data fields defined in the related load definition file.

Use the Data Field drop-down list to select the name of the data field within each record containing the attribute list to be tested.

Step 4

The fourth step is to specify the Attribute ID for the command:

Use the Attribute ID to select the ID of the attribute selection mask -- the list of attributes to be tested.

Step 5

The fifth step is to specify the Flag for the command:

Use the Flag to indicate how records with a value of zero are handled.

Step 6

The sixfth step is to click the OK button to insert the command into the logic template:

The command is inserted into the logic template where the cursor is located. If the task was initiated by double-clicking on the command name, then the arguments that are changed will be overwritten.

Saving a File
