Edit Sliding Timeline Index

Use the Edit Sliding Timeline Index Dialog Box of the Load Definition File editor to add or edit sliding timeline index information.

Sliding Timeline Index Identification

Component

Description

Index Name

Unique name to identify the index. The drop-down list contains a list of suggested unique names. Either select a name from this list or you can specify your own.

Resource ID

Unique integer to identify the index. A resource id will be automatically assigned to the index when it is created.

Index Rules

Package

Name of the package across which the index is being created.

Data Field

Name of the data field across which the index is being created.

Processing

Used to support conditional processing of an index on a document by document basis.

(Add)

Use the add button to open the Add Sliding Timeline Index Rules dialog box.

(Delete)

Select an index rule and click the delete button to remove an index rule from the list.

(Edit)

Select an index rule and click the edit button to open the Edit Sliding Timeline Index Rules dialog box.

Relatvie Base Time

A date-time literal or date-time expression that evaluates to a date and time, and varies through time.

Interval

The time span mapped by each slot.

Value

An integer that represent the amount of time based on the units.

Units

Used to select the unit of time for the interval.

Direction

Used to select whether the interval calculate starting ( Forward ) at the Relatvie Base Time or ending ( Backward ) at the Relatvie Base Time.

Slot Count

The number of slots in the timeline.

Primary Index

Primary Index

The index will be set as the primary index for all packages defined in the Index Rules. This cannot be changed because ALL sliding timeline indexes are primary indexes.
