Delete Document Scanning Section

Deleting a document scanning section from a package in the Load Definition File editor consists of the following steps:

Step 1

The first step is to select the Edit Existing Package task in the PACKAGES task bar along the left side of the load definition file editor to activate the PACKAGES page if it isn't already activated.

Step 2

The second step is to active the package that contains the document scanning section that is to be removed, and select that document scanning section from the Document Scanning Sections list on the PACKAGES page:

The third step is to either press the Delete key or select the Delete DSS task from the DS SECTIONS task bar to remove the document scanning section.

The document scanning section is then removed from the list:

When a document scanning section is removed, any references to the data fields mapped by this section are removed from the indexes. If the last section in a package is removed, you will be prompted to remove the package since must contain at least one section.
